I cannot fault the care & attention given to [name removed] by [name removed]/[name removed] and their relevant teams. [name removed] was looked after very well and I have to say that Mount Gould could teach Derriford hospital a thing or two. Outstanding. My [name removed]

Bit more training to low level care assistants regarding checking on patients more often who are susceptible to bladder/bowl accidents.

Because you have helped me, looked after me, had a chat & laughs. I have had some low moments but the team made it better.

There have been times where I was waiting for the toilet and had an accident, but I understand the team are busy and as soon as they can they help clean me up.

I feel the month I have spent in plym, I have came on leaps and bounds. I feel the team are fantastic and I can't speak highly enough of their care and time.

I have to wear a brace and the team were great at taking it off and re applying it, then the decision was made that only nurses were allowed to touch it, which then delayed my care on some days as the nurses are so busy. I think the HCAs were more than competent enough to do it.

Everyone kept me informed what was going on and why. I trusted all the staff who asked before they did things and we're very respectful. I had an unfortunate experience with a member of staff in Derriford and felt vulnerable and as soon as I got to Plym I felt safe and cared for. I appreciated everyone's role involved in my care - housekeeping, kitchen, doctors, nurses, HCAs, reception and secretarial staff, pharmacists, all the therapists. It was a happy and inspiring place. I even wrote a poem and plan to write about my rehab experience.

The only criticism I would have is that the number of staff on at night sometimes did not feel enough when there were so many patients with complex care needs.

I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff at Plym Neuro. From the doctors to the nurses, the occupational, physical, language and neuropsychological therapists to the HCAs to the Hotel Services staff, this unit is a stone-cold gem of a place. I am confident that you will not find better people anywhere in the NHS (or in private care), whether you're talking about skills or attitude. They know the drill and they work like Trojans, without a word of complaint. In my case, they took in a badly malfunctioning brain-surgery patient and discharged a mended man. Society as a whole could learn a few lessons from the heroes at Plym Neuro. And I'm not exaggerating.

They need more staff. These people have to work far, far too hard.

My father and his family has been treated very well. The staff are kind and caring to my father and our family.
